At Carr Gomm, we are offering a unique opportunity to become a Relief Support Practitioner in either our Responder and Mobile teams, making a real impact in people’s lives. We have both day and night shifts available.

Carr Gomm is a leading social care and community development charity. Our service in Rothesay provides support to people to lead a good quality of life in their own homes. Our support helps to keep people in their own homes, surrounded by familiarity and comfort.

The Role:

As a Support Practitioner, you’ll be the helping hand that people on. Your role involves supporting people manage daily life. This will often include meal preparation, medication administration, and personal care as well as other aspects of their daily life. Our role is not to do things for people but to work with them. The role includes compassionate end-of-life care in the comfort of people’s own homes respecting their choices and wishes.

  • You do not need professional experience to join us. We provide comprehensive induction training to all new team members.
  • Having a driver’s license is a plus, but not a must – your dedication to making a difference is what truly counts!
