Carr Gomm is dedicated to fighting isolation and loneliness throughout Scotland. Our Community Projects are aimed at bringing people together, building friendships and helping to make a more connected community.

Community Grows

Our community growing projects use gardening and outdoor activities to actively tackle health and social inequalities.

Men in Sheds

Our Men in Sheds project is a dedicated, friendly, and welcoming meeting place where local men experiencing loneliness and isolation come together to share skills, build self-esteem, and forge friendships.

Community Link Working

Community Link Working offers non-clinical one-to-one support to people in contact with GP practices.

Community Contacts

Community Contacts is an independent Carr Gomm project offering impartial advice, information and support about Self-Directed Support.

Digital Inclusion

Our Digital Inclusion Development Project is a process of action research led by our dedicated Digital Inclusion Development Manager, Shannon McNee.

Circle of Friends

Set up earlier in 2019, Circle of Friends aims to bring together individuals who are experiencing loneliness and social isolation through activities and group meetings.

Club Fun

Club Fun is a project led by a group of people we support in Forth Valley. It tackles loneliness and isolation by offering opportunities for people to come together, build friendships and experience new things.

Dundee Kitchen Garden

The group encourages local people we support to learn more about nutrition, plan healthy meals, learn to cook more and get involved in growing their own food.

Midlothian Music Group

The Midlothian Music Group is a safe space for self-expression, where people we support are able to come together and sing, perform, dance, play instruments and – of course- have fun.
