Denise Murdoch, our Senior Operations Manager for Argyll & Bute and Highland, is retiring after nearly 25 years of working at Carr Gomm.
Denise oversaw the establishment of the Midlothian Visiting Service and then moved to start our first Carr Gomm services in Argyll & Bute in 2010 and Highland in 2012. All of these services have gone from strength to strength. In Argyll & Bute and Highland, we supported over 2000 people last year!
But it wasn’t just us who appreciated Denise’s impact.
In recognition of her exceptional contributions to older people in Argyll & Bute, Denise received an MBE in the New Year’s Honours List.
