About Us:

Carr Gomm is a leading social care and community development charity. Our Home Care service in Dunoon provides support to people to lead a good quality of life in their own homes. Our support helps to keep people in their own homes, surrounded by familiarity and comfort.

The Role:

As a Support Practitioner, you’ll be the helping hand that people rely on. Your role involves supporting people to manage daily life. This will often include meal preparation, medication administration, and personal care as well as other aspects of their daily life. Our role is not to do things for people, but to work with them. The role includes compassionate end-of-life care in the comfort of people’s own homes respecting their choices and wishes.

You do not need professional experience to join us. We provide comprehensive induction training to all new team members.

A full driving license is essential, as our service extends to communities around Dunoon and Cowal.
