Looking for an exciting, fresh start? Real people person and enjoy the opportunity to form relationships?

Why not join our Care at Home team in Seaboard with various, flexible shifts on offer, gaining valuable experience within different settings?

The Seaboard Care at Home Service helps to support people within the local community, promoting their independence, and allowing them to continue to live in their own home.

Maybe you don’t have any experience and working in Social Care is new to you?   Don’t be put off!  We’d love to hear from you!

The Role:

Your role involves providing respite care, allowing carers the well-deserved break they need. With an impressive rating from the Care Inspectorate, we are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of care and support. We strive for excellence in everything that we do, and our Support Practitioners play a vital role in maintaining these high standards. We value flexibility, and our support visits can be tailored to work around your other commitments, whether it’s childcare, studies, or other responsibilities.

Who We’re Looking For:

We are looking for caring individuals who have a genuine passion for making a positive impact in their community.

You do not need professional experience to join us. We provide comprehensive induction training to all new team members.

We welcome applications from any candidates already eligible to work in the UK or those that can apply for a visa granting permission to work in the UK (e.g. dependent visas, ancestry etc.) that do not require sponsorship from Carr Gomm. You will be asked to share proof of this prior to receiving any offer of employment. It is currently our policy not to offer sponsorship for prospective candidates.

Why Join Carr Gomm:

You’ll be part of a supportive team in Lochaber (Fort William) that values your contributions and helps you grow in your role. Our benefits include:

  • Time and a half payment for hours worked over 37.5 hours per week (averaged over the pay period)
  • Enhanced mileage payment of 45p per mile
  • 35 days’ holiday per year, increasing to 40 days with length of service.
  • £200 Recommend a Friend Scheme (T&Cs apply).
  • Enhanced maternity, paternity, adoption, and sick leave
  • A Defined Contribution pension scheme, with incremental employer contributions
  • Free Blue Light Card (giving access to thousands of discounts and promotions)
