12 Carr Gomm colleagues graduated from the programme designed to equip people for line management in adult social care.
Carr Gomm staff on our 2022/23 Service Manager Development Programme completed the course, receiving a special graduation lunch and a certificate and badge to mark this big achievement.
This Carr Gomm programme is a new and specialist programme aiming to provide a pathway for colleagues interested in becoming a line manager in adult social care.
The programme took place over four residential sessions in Stirling, where the group explored topics such as the role of manager in adult social care, managing change, values-based leadership, managing yourself and others and developing new services. The training was delivered by Kinharvie.
“It was an amazing experience, thankful for the opportunity,” said graduate Steven Lumsden. “I met a group of talented people who have inspired each other to do bigger and better things within the organisation and in the wider social care community.”
Carr Gomm has a strong commitment to supporting the professional development of all colleagues and we are one of the few, if only, adult social care organisations that provides this training.
